Young Gardeners: Nature Around Us
For children in grades 1 - 4. This hands-on activity allows students to learn about the impact of pollution in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries to include runoff, industrialization, and consumerism. Children will visibly see the effects of pollution and learn how they can affect change in the watershed. The children will discuss what they can do better, both at school and at home, to prevent these types of things from happening. Led by Bryan Gomes, Education Coordinator for ClearShark H2O.
