Position type: Fulltime, 35 hours/weekly, primarily assigned to the Main Library in Easton, Maryland. The work schedule may occasionally include shifts in the evening and on weekends.
Hiring Salary Range: $32,000 - $38,000 (Based on Experience).

Minimum Requirements: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with Bachelor's degree awarded with three to five years of related administrative, office management and/or secretarial experience. Summary of Position: The Talbot County Free Library (TCFL) is looking for a friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant who will perform a variety of tasks in direct support of the Director, the Assistant Director, and the Library Board of Trustees. The Administrative Assistant must be able to exercise acumen, tact and discretion in interpreting the policies and direction of his/her supervisors and in contacts with the public or other offices. Knowledge of and skills in office management, secretarial processes, human resources and public relations as well as hardware and software applications in those areas is essential. Must have excellent customer service skills.
