A: Start at the library's Website and click the link to go to the eResources and Databases page. Rosetta Stone can be found in the A-Z list or in the Online Learning category. Enter your 14-digit library card number if prompted, then sign in with your email address, password, and the language you wish to learn. If this is your first visit, you will need to select a password with at least 6 letters and at least 1 number. Click “Launch Rosetta Stone” and follow any prompts from there to begin learning your chosen language.
A: First, install the “Learn Languages: Rosetta Stone” app appropriate to your mobile device. The app is available as a free download from the following app stores: Google Play (for Android devices), Amazon (for Kindle tablets), and Apple (for iPhones, iPads, and iPods). Once the App is installed, do not manually open or launch the app when you wish to use it. (You won't be able to log in this way!) Instead, visit the library's Website in your device's Web browser at www.tcfl.org, navigate to Rosetta stone, and sign in the same way you would on a laptop or desktop (see the above question for details). The Rosetta Stone app will automatically launch once you've signed in via your web browser, and you'll be learning your chosen language on the go in no time.
A: No. Your local libraries have contracted with EBSCO and Rosetta Stone to make this service available at no cost to our patrons. All you need is a valid Talbot County Free Library card.
